Travel & Logistics
Participants who require a visa should contact us as soon as possible to request an official invitation letter.
A small number of host family accommodations are available to support participants with lodge situation during the competition. Those who wish to request this support are encouraged to contact us May 1st and explain their situation. We will do our best to assist.
International participants are strongly encouraged to arrive at least two days early to adjust to jet lag and become familiar with the environment.
The nearest major airport is Kansas City International Airport (MCI). Lawrence, Kansas is approximately 50 minutes car from MCI.

Final Round Awards
Note: please be aware, all cash prizes for the IPPA Conero Piano Competition will be delivered via check (U.S. only) or bank transfer. PayPal is also available. Prize recipients are responsible for paying any money transfer fees that may be incurred; depending on the transfer method, the amount received may be less than the face value of the prize.
Orchestra Engagement
The First Prize winner of the Professional Artist Category A (ages 18–32) will be invited to perform with the orchestra at the 2027 IPPA International Conero Piano Festival.
