Dr. Seba Ali, faculty of the University of Santa Clara. Acclaimed for her masterful piano technique and wide-ranging musical imagination, Pianist Seba Ali enjoys a diverse career as a soloist, educator, humanitarian, and entrepreneur. In high demand as an educator, Dr. Ali is the founder of the color-coded curricula and the ground-breaking project, the color-coded Piano Orchestra. Dr. Ali served as an Assistant Professor of Music at the Lebanese American University, Stony Brook University Undergraduate Music Department and Pre-College division, Cairo Conservatory, and Long Island Conservatory, and has given masterclasses and workshops across the globe.

Having a strong passion for teaching, Dr. Ali has maintained her piano studio for twenty years. Her international student roster has won prestigious competitions and scholarships for graduate studies in the U.S., Asia, and Europe. Dr. Ali holds a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree and a master’s degree from SUNY at Stony Brook and a Professional Performance Certificate from Lynn Conservatory. As a cultural entrepreneur and driven by her passion for education and outreach to the community. Dr. Ali is the founder of Chromatic Music Academy and the Imagine Initiative. She is the winner of the prestigious iphiGenia Gender Design Award, category “Revolution”, an award given for her leadership and commitment through her productions, raising awareness for gender equality, social justice, and human rights.
