Emma Wang
Emma Wang is an accomplished pianist and music educator with an extensive academic background in piano performance. She began her musical studies at the age of seven, and subsequently earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Tianjin Conservatory of Music, where she was mentored by Professor Chen Lei. Emma then pursued her passion for music and education by earning her graduate degree in piano performance at Aaron Copland School of Music under the guidance of Professor Morey Ritt.
Throughout her career, Emma has received numerous awards and recognitions for her outstanding piano performances. She was the recipient of the Excellence Award in the KAWAI Asian Piano Competition, and achieved First Prize in the Fourth Hong Kong International Invitational Competition, among others. Emma has also performed in numerous piano chamber music ensembles and held successful piano recitals at the Aaron Copland Academy of Music in 2018 and 2021.
Emma has also been dedicated to music education for over 10 years, with a focus on developing strong foundational skills and a deep appreciation for music in her students. Her students have consistently achieved excellent results in piano competitions and grading tests. Emma understands that for effective piano teaching, cultivating children’s interest in music and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment are critical. Her expertise in piano pedagogy is further enhanced by her experience as a Junior Judge for the Pacific Stars competition. Emma is committed to inspiring and nurturing the next generation of talented musicians, and promoting the growth and advancement of classical music.
