Rules:
-Applicants who want to participate in the IPPA Türkiye National Round Piano Competition must submit a preliminary round video submission by April 15, 2025. Those who pass the preliminary round will qualify for the national round.
-The application fee is 600 TL for the preliminary round, 1000 TL for the national round.
-Collegiate students who currently major in piano can apply directly to the national round and do not need to submit a preliminary round video or application.
-Every participant of the Preliminary Round will receive a digital certificate and comments from the judges.
-Application fees are non-refundable.
Repertoire and Age Category Guidelines:
Professional Artist Category:
*This is a category for pianists who are professionally trained and are aiming for a career as a concert pianist and/or professional music educator.
Group A: Adult (Age 18–32)
Preliminary Round: One piece of free choice, no more than 12 mins.
National Round: 1-2 pieces of free choice, no more than 15 mins. It is allowed to be the same piece as previous round.
Group B: Age 14-17
Preliminary Round: One piece of free choice, no more than 10 mins.
National Round: 1-2 pieces of free choice, no more than 12 mins. It is allowed to be the same piece as previous round.
Group C: Age 10-13
Preliminary Round: One piece of free choice, no more than 8 mins.
National Round: 1-2 pieces of free choice, no more than 10 mins. It is allowed to be the same piece as previous round.
Professional Artist Category Awards
Young Artist Category
* This is a category for piano students who are at a more amateur level and who are not aiming for a professional piano career.
Group A: Age 16 to 17
Preliminary Round: One piece of free choice, no more than 8 mins.
National Round: 1-2 pieces of free choice, no more than 10 mins. It is allowed to be the same piece as previous round.
Group B: Age 14 to 15
Preliminary Round: One piece of free choice, no more than 7 mins.
National Round: 1-2 pieces of free choice, no more than 8 mins. It is allowed to be the same piece as previous round.
Group C: Age 12 to 13
Preliminary Round: One piece of free choice, no more than 6 mins.
National Round: 1-2 pieces of free choice, no more than 8 mins. It is allowed to be the same piece as previous round.
Group D: Age 10 to 11
Preliminary Round: One piece of free choice, no more than 6 mins.
National Round: 1-2 pieces of free choice, no more than 7 mins. It is allowed to be the same piece as previous round.
Group E: Age 8 to 9
Preliminary Round: One piece of free choice, no more than 5 mins.
National Round: 1-2 pieces of free choice, no more than 6 mins. It is allowed to be the same piece as previous round.
Group F: Age 6 to 7
Preliminary Round: One piece of free choice, no more than 4 mins.
National Round: 1-2 pieces of free choice, no more than 5 mins. It is allowed to be the same piece as previous round.
All winners of the Young Artist Category will receive a trophy and certificate.

Kurallar:
-IPPA Türkiye Ulusal Piyano Yarışmasına katılmak isteyenler, 15 Nisan 2025 tarihine kadar birinci aşama için bir video kaydı göndermelidir. Birinci aşamayı geçenler ulusal aşamaya katılmaya hak kazanacaktır.
-Başvuru ücreti birinci aşama için 600 TL, ulusal aşama için 1000 TL‘dir.
-Piyano ana dalında eğitim gören üniversite öğrencileri birinci aşama videosunu veya başvurularını göndermeden doğrudan ulusal aşamaya başvurabilir.
– Birinci aşama’ya katılan her katılımcı, dijital bir sertifika ve jüri üyelerinden yorumlar alacaktır.
– Başvuru ücretleri iade edilmez.

Profesyonel Sanatçı Kategorisi
*Bu kategori, profesyonel eğitim almış ve konser piyanisti ve/veya profesyonel müzik eğitimcisi olarak kariyer yapmayı hedefleyen piyanistler için düzenlenmiş olan bir kategoridir.
Grup A: 18–32 yaş
Birinci Aşama: Serbest seçilecek bir eser, en fazla 12 dakika.
Ulusal Aşama: Serbest seçilecek 1-2 eser, en fazla 15 dakika. Önceki aşamadaki eserin aynısı olabilir.
Grup B: 14-17 yaş
Birinci Aşama: Serbest seçilecek bir eser, en fazla 10 dakika.
Ulusal Aşama: Serbest seçilecek 1-2 eser, en fazla 12 dakika. Önceki aşamadaki eserin aynısı olabilir.

*Bu kategori, piyano bölümünde kariyer hedeflemeyen, daha amatör seviyedeki piyano öğrencileri için düzenlenmiş bir kategoridir.
