Michelle Hsieh

Michelle Hsieh is a dedicated piano teacher who began her musical journey at the age of 5 at the Taiwan Conservatory of Music. Graduating with honors from a prestigious music school in Taiwan, she later relocated to Vancouver at the age of 19 to further her piano studies. With almost two decades of teaching experience in the Greater Vancouver area, Michelle takes pride in her students’ consistent excellence in numerous competitions. Some have achieved recognition in the finals of international competitions, standing out among thousands of participants. Notably, her students have showcased their talents in esteemed venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, earning praise from judges. They have also received special prizes and the highest awards in the Royal Canadian Music Examination. Michelle’s teaching excellence was recognized by The Royal Conservatory of Music in October 2023, marking 19 years of dedicated service. Additionally, she was honored with the Certificate of Excellence in Music Education from the Steinway Young Artist Club and the Best Teacher Award from the Crescendo International Music Competition, held at Zankel Hall and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, NY. These accolades underscore Michelle’s commitment to nurturing the musical talents of the next generation.
